Why The Lacrosse Cup? Join fellow Maine high school lacrosse players representing “Team Maine” in your age group at the Lacrosse Cup in July 2026, one of the world’s premier international lacrosse tournaments. You will enjoy a true festival of competition and cultural exchange with teams and players from around the world, with all lacrosse and cultural sightseeing activities included in your trip package. Players will represent Maine on a global stage, testing their skills against international opponents.
About “Team Maine” / Who can apply? Team Maine” High School Invitational tours provide Maine high school athletes with the opportunity to travel internationally to represent Team Maine competing in selected sporting events. Each trip allows Maine student athletes to “Compete, Learn, and Grow Beyond the Classroom”, enhancing their sports, cultural, and educational development. Team Maine is open to Maine based high school student athletes who competed in the 2025-2026 school year (including graduated seniors from the class of 2026) who have the character, discipline, and motivation to positively represent Maine in their given sport. The trip is open to all high school student athletes, but the final team selections will be made based on recommendations from coaches and athletic directors. ActivSport Travel is a Maine based, professional travel company, leading international sports tours since 2006, and organizes this trip for Maine athletes.
Proposed Itinerary
July 22 - Depart Boston Logan International Airport for Milan, Italy onboard an overnight flight!
July 23 - Arrive in Milan, Italy where your ActivSport Travel leaders will be waiting for you outside of customs. Transfer to Lacrosse Center for a light training session before heading to accommodations.
July 24 - Today will start the official games of the "Lacrosse Cup”. After the games we will participate in a lacrosse clinic with international coaches. Evening tournament party dinner and music.
July 25 - In the morning we will have our last games followed by an awards & recognition ceremony. In the afternoon there will be lacrosse clinic with international coaches.
July 26 - Morning clinic and Lacrosse Cup U19 Final. The afternoon will be leisure time for optional activities. Evening celebration dinner in Como.
July 27 - Transfer to airport to return home to the US.
What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees (package w/o flights available if you would prefer to purchase your own airfare).
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Sports Expenses
All sport related expenses, including The Lacrosse Cup entry fee. All players will receive ASTravel uniforms and swag for participation.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at 3-star equivalent properties in double or triple occupancy.
Three Meals a Day
Breakfast at your hotel each day, and lunch and dinner each day are included.
